I replaced my Nema32 steppers with Clearpath Servo motors and tried to apply ClearPath benefits from economies of scale because it uses many of the same components and production systems as Teknic’s popular Hudson motor line. Integration eliminates even more hardware. Integrating everything into one package was a tough design challenge, but it got rid of connectors, cables, circuit boards, and cases…and a whole lot of cost.
